Founded in 2020, the goal of the Social Equity Research and Policy Lab (SERP) is to bring together scholars at various stages of their academic journeys to study a myriad of social issues impacting our communities. We are a multi-institution, interdisciplinary research hub. As a team, we embrace public scholarship and strive to include community members and stakeholders as co-producers of knowledge.

The Social Equity Research and Policy Lab provides undergraduate and graduate students the opportunity to engage in hands-on research on topics that assess social inequalities. Our goal is to provide students with an interdisciplinary approach for examining compelling current social issues while working in a collaborative and supportive academic environment.
